I find that the description of the art in a gallery should answer a two part question about the artist. “What was the journey that led this person to create this amazing art – and where are they heading now?”.

Born and raised in a small town setting in Pennsylvania; town known for everyone thinking they "know" everyone and their opinion is more than an opinion. My life timeline fitting into the typical definition of normal through others eyes. Though I knew my life was much more than just average and far more less than perfect.

My child mind being exposed to events that made nightmares reality and clouded happy memories into dreams I could barely remember. My subconscious mind haunting me as I try to process and understand it all. Never was I able to comprehend my nightmares before several others were chaotically uploaded to my mind. Everyday the nightmares festered taking over the majority of my mind making me angry and sad inside. It was eating away at me and I had to figure out a way to stop it or even slow it down. How though?

Then I began to draw. Since I was very young I knew I had an artistic ability, but not until I was a young adult did I realize it wasn't just a talent it was much more. Using all my frustration, anger, and sadness I fueled myself to escape my negative, mind altered, reality and escape to my personal safe haven. My energy resource will never deplete, because the reality in this world gives me an abundant amount of negativity to thrive and feed off of. I will continue to silence my nightmares for the rest of my life with my artistic ability and infinitely provide the world with aesthetic creations.
